Baby's Grasp

Tara has been amazing with my 8 year old son. She has been endlessly patient and kind in a structured way with my son. My son is challenging and can be very difficult. He does not do well with new teachers, environments or challenges. Tara has taken the time to slowly gain his trust and respect. He now loves to go to OT and willingly writes for her. He has improved his handwriting. He is following directions and following the list of first we do this and then we get to do this. Tara keeps the environment fun but structured. She communicates clearly to both myself and My son. Tara is amazing. I would recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone looking for OT for their child.

My wife and I were very please with [Tara]! My wife, Kim, is an OT herself and was very impressed with Ms. Whalen's knowledge of sensory integration principles and treatment interventions. She is very well educated in a variety of treatment modalities as well as effective behavioral interventions. We have found no other OT like her in the private sector! The most impressive quality about ... Tara Renee-Whalen is her a availability for discussion and problem solving her client's and family's individual needs and concerns. We highly recommend [Tara's] services!

My son has been there for almost 3 years and we absolutely love Tara! She has been an incredible therapist for us and has been a great resource. Tara has always showed care and compassion with my child. I recommend her if you are looking for a great therapist!
